VIENNA, 3 – 4 DECEMBER 2018. MEETING OF I.A.O. DELEGATION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL CATHOLIC LEGISLATORS NETWORK (ICLN) AND THE KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR INTERRELIGIOUS AND INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE (KAICIID)

A delegation of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.) headed by the Secretary General Dr. Andreas Michailidis, the Advisor Dr. Kostas Mygdalis and the I.A.O. Liaison with the Catholic Institutions Mr. Virgilio Avato, visited Vienna, on 3rd and 4th of December 2018, where they had a meeting with a delegation of the International Catholic Legislators Network (ICLN), headed by its President Dr. Christiaan Alting von Geusau, at their headquarters the Archbishop’s Palace in Vienna. This was the second meeting of the two parliamentary institutions, during which prospects for cooperation regarding specific issues of common interest were discussed.

 

Moreover, the I.A.O. delegation having been invited by the Secretary General of the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) Mr. Faisal Bin Abdulrahman Bin Muammar, visited their headquarters in Vienna and were briefed by the representatives of the Center on the multi-level activity it develops in the field of interreligious dialogue. The exchange of information provided the opportunity to share views on issues of common interest.
