VISIT OF THE PRIMATES OF THE ORTHODOX CHURCHES.

On the occasion of the festivities on the celebration of the jubilee of Apostle Paul, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Primates of the Orthodox Churches visited the island of Rhodes on Wednesday, 15 October 2008.

His Beatitude Theodoros Patriarch of Alexandria, His Beatitude Ieronymos Archbishop of Athens and all of Greece, His Beatitude Chrysostomos Archbishop of Cyprus, His Beatitude Anastasios Archbishop of Tirana and all of Albania, His Beatitude Christopher Archbishop of the Czech Lands and Slovakia and His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America participated as well in the aforementioned festivities

The Primates of the Orthodox Churches were welcomed by his Eminence Metropolitan Kyrillos of Rhodes, as well as representatives of the local authorities.
The Secretary General of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.), Mr. Aristotelis A. Pavlidis, MP, former Minister participated in the festivities and had a meeting with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the Patriarch Theodoros of Alexandria, Primates of the Orthodox Churches as well as their representatives.
During the dinner offered in honour of the Primates of the Orthodox Churches, the I.A.O. Secretary General Mr. Aristotelis A. Pavlidis, greeted the participants and offered commemorative gifts on behalf of the I.A.O.
