NICOSIA 22 – 25 NOVEMBER 2014. MEETING OF THE I.A.O. INTERNATIONAL SECRETARIAT AND COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS AND RAPPORTEURS.

The autumn meeting of the I.A.O. International Secretariat and Committee Chairpersons and Rapporteurs will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, 22 – 25 November 2014.

All members of the International Secretariat, as well as the Committee Chairpersons and Rapporteurs have been invited to the upcoming meeting. Main subject in the agenda of the meeting is the situation of Christians in the wider region of the Middle East. In the discussion on the main subject the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch will be represented by H.G. Bishop Demetrios Charback, the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate will be represented by Mr. Robert Halef, Member of the Swedish Parliament and the Church of Cyprus will be represented by H.G. Bishop Gregorios of Mesaoria.

The I.A.O. Members will meet with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Yiannakis Omirou, and His Beatitude Archbishop of Nova Justiniana and all Cyprus Chrysostomos II.
