The Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.) is cooperating for the last past five years with the Pan-African Parliament on a permanent basis, In this cooperation framework, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa, was invited and addressed the General Assembly of the Pan-African Parliament in Johannesburg on 5th of October.
Moreover, the I.A.O. representative, Head of the I.A.O. Coordinating Cooperation Committee with the Pan-African Parliament, Mr. Andreas Michailidis, addressed the General Assembly of the Pan-African Parliament.
The I.A.O. delegation, offered a reception – dinner in honour of the Patriarch of Alexandria, where the President of the Pan-African Parliament Mr. Roger Nkodo Dang, as well as members of the Pan-African Parliament and representatives of diplomatic authorities of Greece, Russian Federation and Serbia in South Africa, attended as well.
