The IAO representative addressed the participants with a greeting message on behalf of the IAO Secretary General, Dr. Maximos Charakopoulos, and the President of the IAO General Assembly, Mr. Ioan Vulpescu.

During his speech, he underlined, inter alia, that “Your Assembly is going to deal with the issue of Artificial Intelligence in a time with a particular political and cultural imprint, namely the Black Sea region. Unfortunately, in recent years, especially after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Black Sea region has turned into a war zone. PABSEC has been a reliable actor, utilizing dialogue and diplomacy as means for resolving disputes and promoting the well-being of the peoples of the Black Sea. We hope that your decisions and initiatives will lead Black Sea region to stability, cultural integrity and peaceful union and collaboration among traditions and peoples.”
