We would like to inform you that the first evaluation phase was completed of the international icon painting competition of the Interparliamentary Assembly Of Orthodoxy (I.A.O.) on theme : «The Resurrection of Jesus Christ».
Two hundred and twenty-two hagiographers from nineteen countries participated in the competition and the committee evaluated their works photos without knowing the name or country of the contestants. The I.A.O. secretariat decided, on the basis of the notice, to invite the seventy best contestants in the opinion of the committee, to paint their work on theme “The Resurrection of Jesus Christ”. Information messages have been sent to all contestants.
