Parliamentary Activities
- He was elected as MP at the national elections of July 7th 2019 and as a Secretary of the Hellenic Parliament for the parliamentary period (2019 – 2023)
- In the elections of June 25, 2023, he was re-elected as Member of Parliament with PA.SOK. – “Movement for Change”
- Responsible for Parliamentary Sectors: 2019-2021: “Rural Development and Nutrition”, 2022-2023: “Development & Investments”, 2023-Present: “Infrastructure & Transport”
Participation/Membership in Committees of the Hellenic Parliament:
- 2019-2021: Standing Committee on European Affairs
- 2022-2023: Special Standing Committee on Research and Technology – Standing Committee on Production and Trade – Special Committee on Transatlantic Trade Agreements of Foreign Delegations
- 2023-Present: Standing Committee on Production and Trade – Standing Committee on European Affairs – Committee on Public Enterprises, Banks, Public Utility Organizations and Social Security Institutions
- Following the elections of 25th of June 2023, he was appointed member of the Parliamentary delegation to the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO). During the 32nd IAO General Assembly, June 2025, he was elected IAO Deputy Secretary General.
Political/Social Activities
- During his student years he was active in the Municipality of Nea Kallikratia where he was elected President of the Municipal Council of Nea Kallikratia.
- In 2003 as a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Union of Municipal and Prefectural Youth Councils of Greece he undertook responsibilities for social affairs and was subsequently elected as Vice-President of the Central Union of Youth Councils of Greece.
- In 2005 he Chaired the Committee for the setting up the Youth Councils of Greece and he was the Coordinator for the Education Sector at the National Initiative and Dialogue for Youth.
- In the years 2010-2014 he was elected Regional Advisor of Central Macedonia in the Regional Unit of Chalkidiki and member of the Committees of Industry, Rural Development and Veterinary Medicine for Central Macedonia.
- During the period of 2012 – 2015 he was a strategic and local administration consultant in the decentralized Administration of Macedonia-Thrace.
- In July 2023 he was elected Deputy Secretary of the Parliamentary Group of PASOK – “Movement for Change”
- He is a member of the Political Council of PASOK – “Movement for Change” and Head of the movement’s self-organization.
