On Tuesday, 18 December 2012, the Standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the I.A.O. headed by Mr. Mileta Poskurica and Mr. Alexandr Cotric, member of the I.A.O. International Secretariat, in agreement with the I.A.O. International Secretariat visited the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church His Holiness Patriarch Irinej in order to discuss the program of the 2013 festive events on the occasion of the 1700th Anniversary of the Edict of Milan. The main official event – central ceremony will be held in Nis on October 2013. Moreover, during the meeting they exchanged views on issues of common interest and especially on the presence of Christians in the wider region of Middle East.
