Attendance of the festive event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Russian Orthodox Church Holy Synod and the 2009 Patriarchal Enthronement, with the participation of the Russian leadership and the Religious leaders of Russia.

The I.A.O. Secretary General Dr. Andreas Michailidis accompanied by the I.A.O. Advisor Dr. Kostas Mygdalis visited Moscow and with the President of the I.A.O. General Assembly Mr. Sergei Gavrilov and members of the Russian Parliamentary delegation to the I.A.O. jointly attended the 7th Christmas Parliamentary Meetings, held at the Russian State Duma.

In the framework of the aforementioned event, the I.A.O. Presidium had meetings with the Deputy Chairpersons of the State Duma Mr. Pyotr Olegovich Tolstoy and Ms. Irina Yarovaya, as well as the Heads of the political parties ie. the Leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation at the Russian State Duma Mr. Gennady Andreyevich Zyuganov and the Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia at the State Duma Mr. Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky.

Additionally, the Presidium of the I.A.O. attended the festive event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Russian Orthodox Church Holy Synod and the 2009 Patriarchal Enthronement, with the participation of the Russian leadership and the Religious leaders of Russia and they offered a commemorative gift to His Beatitude Patriarch Kyrill of Moscow and all Russia.
