Meeting with the President of the State Duma of the Russian Federation | Moscow, 23 October 2012.
On October 23, 2012 the President of the General Assembly of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.), Member of the Russian State Duma Mr. Sergei Popov and the I.A.O. Secretary General, Member of the Hellenic Parliament Mr. Anastasios Nerantzis realised a meeting with the President of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Mr. Sergei Naryshkin in Moscow. During the meeting the I.A.O. delegates invited the President of the State Duma to participate at the 20th anniversary I.A.O. General Assembly, which will be held in Athens, 27 – 30 June 2013.
In addition, the member of the Russian State Duma, member of the I.A.O. International Secretariat Mt. Jaroslav Nilov, the I.A.O. advisors Dr. Kostas Mygdalis and Prof. Valery Alexeev, as well as executive collaborators to the President of the State Duma participated in this meeting. During the meeting they had the opportunity to discuss issues regarding the future I.A.O. activities around the world.
