The member of the Hellenic Parliament was accompanied by I.A.O. Adviser to the Secretary-General Dr. Kostas Mygdalis. His Holiness was informed about the activities of the organization and about the next meeting of the Secretariat of the I.A.O. that will take place in Istanbul between the 2nd and the 4th of March, on the occasion of completing twenty years of its establishment. On this opportunity the members of the I.A.O. will visit the Patriarchal Holy Church of Saint George and the pilgrimages of Istanbul. At the same time a conference will be organized on ‘The social profile of the monotheistic religions’ on which will be invited to take part Turkish politicians, various different religious expressions and organizations, as well as celebrities. Finally, Mr. Nerantzis conveyed to his Holiness the respect and greetings of the President of the General Assembly of I.A.O. Member of the Russian State Duma Mr. Sergei Popov and of all the Secretariat members.
