We would like to inform all interested parties about the international scientific essay contest that the essay evaluation completed.
The International Secretariat of the I.A.O. appointed three three-membered scientific committees, one for each language (English, Greek and Russian), which evaluated the submitted essays. The way to evaluate the essays was common to all and it was determined in collaboration among the three (3) Committee Coordinators.
The Secretariat of the I.A.O. was registered all the essays submitted for participation in the contest and passed all the registered essays to the teams of evaluation committees, who made an initial assessment using a 10-grade system.
From the three aforementioned committees showed a new five-membered scientific committee composed from the heads of the three three-membered scientific committees and from two assessors named by the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy. The purpose of the committee was to re-evaluate the three best essays which emerged from the previous assessment.
The three best essays translated in all three languages and reassessed from the second scientific committee.
In total the process complied with the anonymity of the participants, to ensure the integrity of the evaluation.
The three best essays will be posted on the Internet at the address: www.eiao.org.gr with the corresponding names, biographies and photos of successful candidates.
The authors of the best essays are invited to participate in the award ceremony, which will be held in the 21st General Assembly of I.A.O., in Moscow, on 26 June 2014.
